Wolframalpha. its like a boiled down wikipedia, sort of a cumulation of knowledge based upon your search. I discovered about this from Not Today Fatty, and following their example i plugged in my birth date. (sorry i dont have a fancy picture like they do) For example I am 7999 days old. the day i was born the sun rose at 7:07 am and sunset was at 4:36pm in Philadelphia pa. It was also a full moon. What would we do without the internet.

The little things

The other day I saw two trains pull onto ether side of the platform at the same time.(regional rail) And it was one of those things that made me think, I have never seen this before. Then i wondered if anyone else had, Or how often an occurence it was. Normally trains arrive on one side or the other, or One after another after waiting at a splitter but these arrived almost in unison. I bet if i ever see it again ill think of that moment, or almost any time i wait for a train ill wonder. That thought will reoccur forever in my head, wether or not its because I made this post or because thats just how it is ill never know.

after watching all the law and order

Ive moved on to Numbers (which i refuse to spell with a 3 instead of an e.) and its no Law and Order SVU but its a helluva step up from CSI. Although not much can top CSI Miami, I mean look at this man,

he knows how to solve crime. My theory is that he has magic eyes that only work when he takes off his sunglasses, but he has to wear them because if he uses his magic eyes all the time they will lose their power.

Unfortunately, only 18 seconds of Destino were ever shot, but in 1999, Roy Disney reconstructed the entire short using computer rendering and hand-drawn imagery based on the original sketches and storyboards."

I'm not sure how i feel about this video. Well for starters I was never a huge Dali fan other than the "hey i recognize that from art class" I never could get into it.

I wish that this short film had showed us the original 18 seconds that were completed, without that I feel like there is no way to judge whether or not the film stayed true to its inspiration. I mean yes it feels like Dali imagery, but it also looks a lot like Aeon Flux. I just wonder how much of this was in the original and how much was made with the time period in mind (1999).

At least the 3D segments aren't overbearing. It is well put together, and interesting to watch. Unfortunately, Like most Disney movies this one involves quite a bit of music, in fact the whole short is like a music number that sounds like it was recorded in 1946 (which it probably was) so if your like me and aren't a fan of musical numbers you might want to watch this on mute...or wait for an inevitable youtube remix, which will probably not be any better.

What have I been watching this month

So far Im on the 10th season, they have up to 11 on netflix. Ill talk about this more in detail later seeing as how this is one of the best shows on tv, but right now I have to get back to episode 21-Liberties. It will be a sad day when I finish watching all the episodes on Law and Order SVU...so at the rate im going here, Tuesday will probably be a sad day.

(edit): only up to season 10...no more episodes. Sunday was the sad day

This has to be one of the best things I have ever seen...Im pretty sure its fake, after researching it for like an Hour with my friend Dave...However fake or not this is still a rediculous video, and probably one of the most genious things i have ever seen on the internet. Highlights include the movement right after the 1:30 mark, right after hitting himself with a shoe he makes a movement/noise that is almost inhuman.

Also check out the users other videos, the one with the vacuum cleaner is unreal if just for the Dad coming out yelling about football...and what happens next, Holy shit just watch it, its unreal.

Leather Jackets

Leather Jackets are one of those items that i think about buying every time i see one, but i can never commit for a variety of reasons,

1.Will it look good on me?

2.Will it fit in with who I am? aka could i pull off a leather jacket?

3.The Price and cut

The reason I am thinking about this is I just saw this Leather Jacket from Undercover,

Do I like it? yes, would i pay 188000 yen for it? prrrrobably not. However as nice as this is I'm still a fan of the classics

74 dollars from some random google found biker store? not bad however my desire for one immediately went away looking at the model in this picture...and the logo right below it which i hope to god isn't the logo for the jacket manufacturer...

because nothing says outlaw like a flaming X to show how bad ass what you make is, If only they would throw in a wolf/American flag and sunglasses somewhere in there id have already ordered 5. But as it stands....I don't really want a Leather Jacket so much anymore. Although all it will probably take is a good photo from EndlessBlockades to trigger my intrest again.

EndlessBlockades by the way is an awesome blog with nothing but photos of leather and denim jackets in all their studded out/ backpatched glory, so If you haven't checked it out yet, you probably should.
